Mark D. Kundmueller, Attorney
Experience
Mark Kundmueller joined Tuesley Hall Konopa in 2009, bringing insurance coverage and appellate experience to the litigation team. Prior to joining THK, he practiced with a firm in Chicago in the area of insurance coverage litigation and was a vital member of a team that obtained a multi-million dollar verdict on a professional negligence claim against a major national law firm on behalf of an insurer.
Mark earned his J.D., cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School in 2003, was the recipient of a Notre Dame Fellowship and actively participated in providing legal services to the underprivileged through the Notre Dame Legal Aid Clinic. After graduation Mark worked for the Michigan Court of Appeals, serving as both a Pre-hearing attorney and as law clerk to the Honorable Joel P. Hoekstra.
Mark combines his legal experience with an interesting and unique background, having previously worked as a high school economics teacher; earned the rank of Shodan (black belt) in Tai Jutsu, a traditional Japanese martial art; and, after years of working in restaurants, became an accomplished cook.
